Wahgo International Corporation provides turn-key communication systems for IP-based wide-area networks, dispatch and interconnect systems with geolocation, trunk radio networks, private communication networks, and rural radio systems. Moonion's work with WAHGO is represented by a long-running dispatch platform, a specialist ecommerce system for Blazer Electronic Centre, and adjacent product development for Ventrickle.

Communication systems platform work

WAHGO's communication work centers on radio networks, dispatch systems, geolocation, and private or rural communication infrastructure. Moonion's longest-running contribution in this area is ALM, a dispatch-center operator platform that brings SIP subscribers, radio stations, conference groups, maps, cameras, DTMF commands, audio recording, and service monitoring into one web interface.

The project grew from an early operator console into a field-ready dispatch network with ALMIS interconnection, ONVIF/PTZ camera support, E1/T1 connectivity, ALM Daemon, offline installation tooling, licensing, and continued 2026 work around newer radio protocols and operator UI improvements.

Specialist ecommerce for radio equipment

WAHGO's wholly owned subsidiary, Blazer Electronic Centre, sells radio communication products and accessories through a large online catalog. Moonion built the Blazer storefront around the realities of specialist equipment sales: category and brand browsing, product detail pages, account registration, cart and checkout flows, inquiry-aware ordering, order status tracking, and an administration area for catalog and order operations.

The implementation also connected the order workflow with Xero, reducing manual transfer between ecommerce and finance operations.

Adjacent digital product work

The partnership also includes Ventrickle, a mobile health and nutrition product. Moonion built the app experience around diet tracking, activity monitoring, health metrics, and online consultations, showing the team's ability to support WAHGO-linked digital products beyond radio and ecommerce systems.

Highlights

The seventh stage continued ALM development with new radio protocol work, a refreshed call stack, and visible operator UI polish.

  • Migrated SIP and video work toward JsSIP, including a new call interface and video controls
  • Added NexedgeDigitalVer2DMR radio-station support and follow-up fixes for messages, GPS, packets, and channel actions
  • Shipped RF41 support with preset forms, status handling, waveform status, and node naming work
  • Updated ALM Bin and related configuration toward the newer deployment flow
  • Added visible interface polish, including logo and chevron updates

ALM VII

The sixth stage supported the 2024 launch in Tajikistan and added new radio and processing capabilities.

  • Added diagnostics such as ping and telnet support around the Asterisk server
  • Added Icom radio support for calls, messages, GPS data, and status handling
  • Added Codan radio support, including channel control, calls, messages, GPS handling, and group messaging
  • Added remote-server support for media processing components and configuration
  • Improved GPS marker filtering and custom message handling for radio users and groups

The fifth stage focused on field operations, service monitoring, and broader telecom connectivity.

  • Built ALM Daemon workflows for install, update, start, stop, restart, and service recovery
  • Added service monitoring and administrative restart actions from the operator console
  • Improved maps and camera/sensor loading for dispatch-center views
  • Added E1/T1 trunk support with dialplan, channel, and DAHDI setup work
  • Extended ALMIS conference support so networked installations could participate in communication groups

The fourth stage expanded ALM into a networked and licensed dispatch system with richer camera and installation support.

  • Added ALMIS so separate ALM installations could be connected into one operational network
  • Implemented ONVIF/PTZ camera control and expanded map markers for cameras, alarms, users, and portable radios
  • Added Sentinel HASP licensing work, including license options and driver support
  • Improved offline installation and update tooling for controlled environments

The third stage strengthened ALM as a configurable telecom platform instead of a fixed operator screen.

  • Upgraded the Asterisk stack and added dynamic configuration for SIP, DTMF, WebRTC, and DAHDI settings

  • Built ALM Bin, a command-line control layer for installation and system operations
  • Added licensing support for Raspberry Pi based security-server deployments

The second stage turned the early console into an MVP with the core communication workflows in place.

  • Added operator-facing group management, direct calls, conference calls, and SIP subscriber status handling
  • Implemented DTMF command flows for remote group creation and subscriber management
  • Added call and conference recording, including record logs around push-to-talk activity
  • Improved radio-station control and message handling between SIP users, radio users, and groups
  • Prepared the deployment setup that would support repeatable installations

  • Set the architecture direction for a modular system that could grow through separate services
